Description

Ikelite clear polycarbonate underwater/dive housing to fit Canon PowerShot SX110 IS digital point & shoot camera, with removable arm.
Housing is in great shape, has only been used a few times.  Lens port is undamaged and free of scratches; no major scratches elsewhere. Foam lens cushion on inside of case is torn, but this is not part of the waterproofing.

camera is an injection molded clear polycarbonate case, known for its strength and corrosion-free properties. The housing offers an unobstructed view of the camera's information and control functions and operates safely to a depth of 200'. Camera installation is quick and simple, and the o-ring seal can be checked visually through the clear housing.
The
Release Handle
system allows for easy attachment and removal of SubStrobe mounting arms at the touch of a button. The housing is sized and weighted for near neutral buoyancy and superb handling underwater.
The housing includes a flash diffuser that allows underwater photos to be taken with the built-in flash of the camera. For optimum lighting underwater an optional external strobe is recommended. Ikelite strobes are brighter, recycle faster and offer wider coverage than the camera's flash. Being farther from the camera lens, the strobe reduces the illumination of particles in the water which helps eliminate backscatter.
Color filters can be used to correct the color when shooting available light photography. Use 6441.41 for tropical blue water and 6441.81 for green water. Filters are effective in shallow, sunny conditions depending on water clarity. Make sure all strobes are turned off when using filters.
The 67mm threaded port accepts external wide-angle lenses, but severe vignetting precludes their effective use.
